We have new friends and we're delighted to share them with you. Hampton Roads Bride magazine, which has long been a resource for couples in this region has started an exciting new blog The Hampton Roads Bride Blog. We were excited to see Williamsburg Wedding Design mentioned in a recent resource post about catering and cakes in Gloucester (we LOVE Gloucester!) - plan to follow Hampton Roads Bride Blog. Submit your photo and written details to the receptionist at the Gazette (see the website for contact information and address). When last confirmed, engagement announcements in the Gazette were free (but things change quickly around here).

Just make sure the announcement ends up with the social content and not in the "Last Word".  (It's funny if you read the Gazette - trust me).

Fantastic new post from Williamsburg Wedding Design on the World According to Weddlady blog today - a great read if you're trying to decide how to hande a tented wedding, or a wedding at a private home or estate.

We've traveled from Providence Forge to Deltaville and many points in between to plan and execute home weddings. We even planned an incredible "front" yard wedding at a cabin near Frazier Park, California. Private homes are definitely among my favorite venues. This style of wedding is meaningful, intimate and often far more complicated than expected.
